Recruit a team of outcasts with unique abilities and distinct individuals to pursue the Banished Court to the edge of the world in a mix of time-based infiltration, turn-based tactical combat, and triggered by the main characters' discovery and intrigue.
Storyline
The action of The Lamplighters League is set in an alternative reality of the 1930s. For millennia, the sinister cult of the Banished Court has been searching for artifacts that will allow it to take over the world. However, the plans of the wicked are constantly thwarted by the titular League of Lamplighters, composed of the greatest heroes in the history of mankind. At least that was the case in the past, because centuries of fighting against cultists had significantly thinned the ranks of the organization. As a result, the League had to slightly lower its requirements for candidates, and its ranks were joined by hosts of scoundrels, cheaters and other outcasts whom any self-respecting hero would despise.Mechanics
The Lamplighters League is a rather unusual tactical RPG. On the one hand, we have turn-based battles well known to fans of the genre, during which we give orders to a team of killers. Each hero has his own talents and skills, and the key to victory is to properly use all heroes and objects on the board.
