Forza Horizon 5 is the fifth part of the best-selling open-world racing game series. This time, the Playground Games studio takes us on a journey to Mexico and gives us the largest world in the history of the series.

Forza Horizon 5 is the fifth installment of the best-selling open-world racing game series, launched in 2012 as a spin-off of the Forza Motorsport series. During the game, we take part in the titular Horizon Festival, which is a kind of music and car festival. The title was developed by Playground Games studio and published by Xbox Game Studios. 

Gameplay 

The open world offers the player a lot of freedom in choosing challenges. In addition to traditional races (both on asphalt and off-road) and tasks involving accelerating to high speeds or making long jumps, some new forms of fun have appeared. The hallmark of FH5 are expeditions - special missions in which we explore picturesque corners of Mexico, dealing with, for example, a sudden volcanic eruption. 

Map 

Forza Horizon 5 takes us on a journey to Mexico - it is the most extensive map in the history of the series, approximately 50% larger than the one in Forza Horizon 4. There are, among others, a desert, a rainforest, ancient ruins, a huge canyon, picturesque beaches, as well as the villages and city of Guanajuato. Additionally, you can climb the highest point in the history of the cycle - the top of the volcano. FH5 includes the changing seasons system known from "4", which has been modified. This time the weather conditions are not universal for the entire map - e.g. snowfall only occurs at high altitudes. Moreover, Mexico has a completely different climate than England from FH4 and previously unseen, violent atmospheric phenomena occur here, such as sandstorms or intense tropical storms.
